Flamel Technologies Announces Medusa License Agreement with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals

Flamel Technologies announced that it has entered into a development and license agreement with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, a division of Wyeth (NYSE: WYE). The agreement is for the development and licensing of a marketed protein to be delivered using Flamel's Medusa technology. Flamel will receive an upfront payment and potential development fees, milestones and royalty payments, the terms of which are not disclosed.

Veeco Instruments Inc. today launched its Wyko® SP9900™ Surface Profiling System, the company’s latest generation of industry-leading SP products for backend semiconductor metrology. The System performs critical measurements that support high yield and device reliability for advanced high-density interconnect (HDI) packages. Interest in the product has been strong, with two units already in production at industry-leading semiconductor contract assembly and test services (SATS) vendors in Japan and Taiwan.
